Reason behind name and number: 

Poison Ness is a play on "poisonous" and my nickname "Ness." As an outdoorsy person and hiker I'm no stranger to poison ivy. Thus, Poison Ness Ivy was born!

Side note: It is completely unrelated to the popular comic character, though I guess we do share some similarities of preferring plants to people.

As for my number, I was born on the 11th day of the 12th month so I wanted a number that represented that. Visually to me that looks like this:  [11]2  &  1[12]

Fun fact:

​I built out a camper van in 2019 that I used to travel across the country with my partner, our dog and 2 cats at the time. It really comes in handy for those long distance travel games

My greatest derby accomplishment is:

In my breakout rookie season, I received a Coaches Award and MVJ within my first 3 scrimmages. 

Highlight of my jammer career so far was loosing a toe stop mid jam and still maintaining multiple scoring laps with it dangling from my skate.

If I could tell myself one thing when I started playing, I would say:

​Don't be afraid to try something new, you are more capable than you realize. In doing so, you'll surprise yourself and find a lovely community of people you were always searching for.
